My journey in physiotherapy started with a fascination for the human body’s resilience – especially its ability to heal and adapt. This curiosity led me to pursue a Kinesiology degree at McMaster University (go MacKin!). After graduating, I worked as a Registered Kinesiologist focusing on functional exercise and mobility training. During this time, I gained a strong appreciation for how movement can restore function and improve quality of life. Building on this passion for rehabilitation, I decided to pursue a Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto, where I further developed my clinical skills in orthopedics, post-surgical care, and neurorehabilitation. Since then, I’ve expanded my skillset through continuing education in pelvic health, concussion, and vestibular therapy.

Helping people overcome challenges and reach their goals is at the core of my practice. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, training for a specific sport, or just getting back to the activities you enjoy, I’m here to guide you through each step. Using personalized exercises, education, and hands-on techniques, we’ll create a plan that fits your lifestyle and supports your milestones. My focus is on empowering individuals to build strength, confidence, and resilience through movement.

Outside the clinic, you can usually find me strength training, mixing in a bit of Pilates, hiking Hamilton’s beautiful trails, or exploring new coffee spots in the city! I am excited to be part of the Function 101 team and looking forward to seeing you on Locke!
